Brett - The Black Jack Professional (Pro)The Kid, The Outlaw, The Mechanic. These are just a few of the names that have been given to Brett Granstaff also called the Black Jack Professional (Pro)for his over the top style, and his smooth manipulation of the cards during Blackjack play. After seeing the film "Rain Man" at the age of 10, Brett became fascinated with card counting. His father, a renowned and experienced Blackjack Pro player himself, meticulously taught him the basics, seeing a second generation prodigy in the making. Brett then sought out books by the father of card counting, Edward O. Thorpe, perfected the method and used what he had learned to create his own approach; a much more aggressive system of card counting called the "Hot Hand Advantage." Brett quickly became a force on the Blackjack circuit. He won several tournaments with his card counting strategy, before being banned from many of the top tables in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. While he'll never tell how much he has earned while beating dealers at some of the most aggressive tables in the country, he will say that he has used his winnings to reside in one of the hottest neighborhoods in New York City while attending NYU, moved into a luxurious penthouse in Beverly Hills after college, owns a mint condition 1969 Camaro, a BMW automobile and Ducati motorcycle which he loves to ride during his spare time. Since graduating with a film degree from NYU, Brett has amassed credits as a producer, director and actor on many television, theater and film projects.
